Kenobi - One of the Family
Story
Dear Family and Friends,
I have decided to make a difference by taking part in Janet Craig’s special Pet Project Fundraising Photographic Exhibition called ‘One of the family’ to raise funds for Cancer Support WA. Cancer Support WA helps individuals and families dealing with Cancer by providing support services and the only 24 hour Cancer Support phone line in Australia.
Through here you can easily support my efforts by sponsoring my “One of the family’ portrait, by making a secure donation online. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.
Click 'Donate Now' to make a secure online donation.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation, which can be used at Tax time – which is just around the corner.
Janet Craig is hoping to raise $120,000.00 to support the work of this incredible local charity – Cancer Support WA. Your donation will help us reach this goal and the portraits will be displayed in a public exhibition in 2015. Details of the exhibition will be emailed to you closer to the date.
Please find below the story behind my “One of the Family’ portrait.
Thanks so much for your support!

I have been fortunate to have Kenobi in my life for the past two years. I adopted her when she was five years old and it was the best decision I ever made.
One of my favourite moments with Kenobi was our first trip to the beach. She ran to the shoreline and started splashing about and then swam into the shallows and surprised me by body surfing the waves. The look on Kenobi's face said it all, she had an absolute blast.
Since then we have had many more trips to the beach as well as road trips to Busselton, Mandurah, Bunbury, Geraldton and Margaret River. Kenobi loves travelling in the car and I want her to be able to experience as much as she can during her lifetime, she enjoys seeing new places and meeting new people.
From the moment I bought Kenobi into my house she knew this would be her home and I would be her family. We have such a strong bond that she instinctively knows when I'm stressed and does her best to make my worries disappear with cuddles and kisses. I love every moment with my baby girl and she has enriched my life for the better and I hope I have done the same for her. Nothing beats that staffy smile :)
