Brocky & Ralph - One of the Family

Story

Dear Family and Friends,

We have decided to make a difference by taking part in a special Pet Project Fundraising Photographic Exhibition called ‘One of the family’ to raise funds for Cancer Support WA.

Cancer Support WA helps individuals and families dealing with Cancer by providing support services and the only 24 hour Cancer Support phone line in Australia.

We have had a number of friends and family members battle with cancer recently and when we heard about this project it was something that we were drawn to. We believe it is so important that local organisations like Cancer Support WA exist and are able to provide support to those that need it. We hope you will join us in supporting them by making a secure online tax deductible donation towards this fundraising project and/or sharing our page to help spread the word.

Click 'Donate' to make a secure online donation.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation, which can be used at Tax time.

The overall fundraising goal is to raise $120,000.00 to support the work of this incredible local charity – Cancer Support WA. Your donation will help us reach this goal and the portraits will be displayed in a public exhibition in 2015.

Please find below the story behind our 'One of the Family’ portrait.

Thanks so much for your support!

Brad and I met when Brocky was 1 and Ralph was 2. They quickly became best of friends and have been inseparable ever since. They have certainly grown old and are slowing down together but they can always find a little energy to play around.

Our son George was born 3 and a half years ago and both dogs show George so much love and patience. They love to be close by him when he plays and Ralph especially loves a bear hug from George.

Janet Craig had her work cut out for her trying to photograph the two dogs and George as they were all so excited and playful. She managed to pull off some great shots capturing our three sons together.
