Bella - One of the Family
Story
Dear Family and Friends,
Bella and I have decided to make a difference to raise funds for Cancer Support WA. Cancer Support WA helps individuals and families dealing with Cancer by providing support services and the only 24 hour Cancer Support phone line in Australia.
This is a cause close to my heart as my nephews wife Brooke (our awesome beautiful Brooke) aged 33yrs with 2 little children is currently fighting an aggresive tumour. We all love her and Adam so much - they're both inspirations as are many others with this awful disease.
All funds go directly to supporting people, family and friends needing support in any way.
Through here you can easily support my efforts by sponsoring my “One of the family’ portrait, by making a secure donation online. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.
Click 'Donate Now' to make a secure online donation.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation, which can be used at Tax time
Please find below the story behind my “One of the Family’ portrait.
Thanks so much for your support - its truly appreciated (-;

Bella brings love and happiness to all those who meet her. She is my ray of sunshine, my best friend, my mate, my walking companion and much more. She's an awesome 'snuggler’ and cuddles into my shoulder at night.
Bella came into my life in March 2014 after I’d put many barriers to getting a dog despite wanting one. I fell in love with her when I saw her on Gumtree - she was mine from that moment and a forever relationship which is meant to be.
She is the 'doggie in the window' waiting for me to get home from work at night. With my gopher Theo, we go for walks exploring the local area, bush and parklands - she has opened a new world for me giving me a new found purpose and freedom. With Theo, we visit my Dads nursing home - she is loved by the residents particularly when she licks their feet - they tend to smuggle her bits of cake! She has opened the opportunity for us to join the Chihuahua Club, Mind Dog and several other likeminded organisations. Amongst her doggy friends are Chloe, Milly and cousin Cheeky - she loves playing with them and recently had Cheeky for a four day ‘sleepover’.
With Theo, we are known in our local community - this is Bella's extended family. She loves her Nan and Grandad (my parents) and Aaron (my son) - she loves Beryl, Neri (her trainer), Erin, the Allbreeds Pet Retreat team and many others.
It's this unconditional love that Bella gives to so many which allows us to sing, laugh, cry, talk, share dreams and dance together.
As I look into her big brown eyes, I’m in awe of how some-one so little can bring so much joy, happiness and love to so many. I love her with all my heart.......she’s the wind beneath my wings.....
